Derby sisters Delia Smith and Charlene Sharp have embarked on an exciting new career in the health and beauty trade with the opening of their store, All About You, in Stenson Road, Littleover, helped the Derbyshire Enterprise Agency.

The shop is a one-stop health and beauty shop offering hair and skincare products and nutritional supplements, as well as sports and Indian Head massage and holistic therapy in the community.
  
Their backgrounds of the sisters complement each other perfectly – Delia has been a therapist for 12 years and Charlene holds various coaching certificates with the FA (Football Association) and has been a gym instructor.

The pair were given support and guidance by Peter Morgan from the DEA to turn their business ideas into reality. 

Charlene continued: “Peter’s been fantastic. We had the initial idea to set up the shop, but he has helped us flesh the idea out and develop it into a really viable business plan. Through a series of one-to-one coaching sessions, he has helped us to build up our self-confidence, and nurtured our business skills to get us to where we are today.

Peter added: “Delia and Charlene are a real success story. They had a great idea for a business and came along to our open evening to see how we could help.

“I’ve been able to offer support, guidance and encouragement to enable them to take the step from thinking about running their business to opening their shop and to provide access to personal development training. DEA will continue to work with Delia and Charlene and make sure they are accessing funding opportunities and the wider support available through other partner organisations.”
